Announced on behalf of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, we are honoured and humbled that UNFPA has won the Webby People's Voice Award and received more votes than any other Webby nominee in the Best Use of Photography category. We were also recognized with a Webby Winner award, the award bestowed by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences committee of judges.
This comes on top of the recognition UNFPA.org received as an honouree in the category Best Activism Website and selected as the winner for:
• 16 girls, 16 stories of resistance is the Webby Winner in the Best Use of Photography category.
• 16 girls, 16 stories of resistance is the People's Voice Winner in the Best Use of Photography category.
